Sound therapy in South Devon

Our work brings together sound, presence, and therapeutic awareness. We offer one-to-one therapy, group sound experiences, and training in sound-based practice, working from Newton Abbot in South Devon.

Sound is not separate from the therapeutic work. It is part of it. Drum, gong, rattle, and bowls are used alongside conversation, or instead of it, depending on what the person needs and what the session calls for. The clinical background we bring to this distinguishes it from sound healing in the more general sense of that term.

We work with individuals, couples, and groups. Sessions vary considerably depending on the person and what they are bringing. Some are quiet and inward, others more active. Some involve extended periods of sound, others very little. The work shapes itself around what is present rather than following a predetermined structure.

If you are new to sound-based work, or unsure whether any of this is relevant to you, an initial conversation costs nothing. We are happy to talk it through before any commitment is made.

Psychotherapist, Sound Practitioner & Trainer

My work brings together psychotherapy, sound, and over fifteen years of clinical experience. I draw on Gestalt, shamanic practice, and a long personal relationship with drum and instrument-making to work with people in ways that are responsive rather than fixed.

Psychotherapist, Sound Practitioner & Trainer

I work as a psychotherapist, sound practitioner, and trainer from a body-oriented perspective. Gestalt and Body Process Psychotherapy ground everything I do, alongside sound and womb healing work that creates space for what the person actually needs.
